Your licence

Buying Notch Buddy gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app on the Macs you own, for as long as you like, including future updates. You may not resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the app.

Activating your licence

Your licence key activates Notch Buddy on your Mac. Each activation takes one of the seats on your key; if you sell a Mac or move to a new one, deactivate it first from Settings › About, which frees that seat to be used again.

Refunds

If Notch Buddy doesn't fit how you work, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund it. No explanation needed.

A refund ends the licence. Once it is processed your key is revoked, and the next time Notch Buddy checks — on its next launch, or within fourteen days if the Mac is offline — it will stop unlocking and return to the licence screen on every Mac the key was used on. Anything you made with it is yours and stays on your Mac; the notes, clipboard history and files the app kept are plain files in your own Library folder and are not touched.

Third-party services

Notch Buddy can display data from services you connect yourself. Those services set their own terms, availability and rate limits, and we are not responsible for changes they make to their APIs.

Warranty

The app is provided as is. We do our best to keep it correct and stable, but we can't warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and our liability is limited to what you paid for it.
